Na Ella Hiking and Night Camping

Na Ella Falls, located on the southern side of the Knuckles Forest Reserve, is an exceptionally rare and picturesque natural location situated within the Knuckles Mountain Range. This breathtaking beauty has been introduced to you by Border Adventures, offering the chance to experience an overnight camp at this stunning waterfall.

During this journey, your campsite will be set up to the south of the Na Ella Falls, near the natural Infinity Pool. We will provide comfortable tents, sleeping bags, and other camping necessities. In front of the campsite, a campfire will burn throughout the night, offering an unforgettable experience. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy the delicious dinner and breakfast prepared by our guides, enhancing the enjoyment of your journey.

Our campsite provides the opportunity to enjoy water sports in the nearby waterfalls, as well as spectacular views of Lakegala and Giant Mountain peaks visible from the campsite. You will also be surrounded by lush, uninterrupted green forests, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature.

The journey begins in Kalugala village, located on the southern boundary of the Knuckles Reserve. The total distance of the trip is approximately 12 km. After leaving Kalugala village, the entire journey takes place within the human-free Knuckles Protected Nature Reserve, where you will encounter vast biodiversity, endangered species, and a variety of flora and fauna. Here, you will have the chance to experience the unspoiled forest, nourished by high-altitude vegetation, making for a truly serene and enriching experience.
